House of Undying Patience

Photo Friday challenge of "Patterns." I have two cats with one of the rarer fur patterns, known as "tortoise shell," which only occurs in females. Brian, (yes, she's a female), is the gray & pink cat to the right, which is an even more rare type of "tortie" known as a "pastel tortie." She's actually a quite calm and good-natured cat, which is quite the opposite of the temperment of the natural tortie, which is what Vixen, (inset on the right), is. Vixen, aptly named, is a very tempermental cat who can switch from extremely loving to extremely angry without notice. I had to combine two seperate pictures of them because it's an extremely rare occurrence to get them both together at the same time and stay that way long enough to take a picture. However, the size scale is just about right.
