Veterans' Day

Also my birthday, which is cool, always getting a day off school and then work for my birthday. But, um, yeah. Remember to thank a veteran, because if not for veterans, you wouldn't get to enjoy living in the country you live in now. If you don't appreciate your country, then do something about it: Move to a country you think is better. Most importantly, remember this: Don't blame veterans for our politicians' mistakes in past, present, or future wars. The soldiers fighting are just following orders handed down by the politicians and the officers appointed over the soldiers, and if they don't follow the orders, they are punished severely. So keep that in mind and thank a veteran; don't blame them unless you are willing to join the military and try to make things better yourself.
